Sessions are virtual and available statewide, with in-person sessions and visits when necessary.
Parenting Coordination
Including transitional services for families in change
Helps parents communicate better, follow a workable plan, and settle everyday disputes, reducing the number of petitions to the court. Promotes consistent, collaborative parenting styles in each home, and supports custody arrangements, the coordination of parenting time, and pre- and post-divorce changes as children grow and needs change.
Family Observation and Evaluation
In-home insight for therapeutic and court support
Real-world observation of how a family functions at home, including each parent’s interaction and style with the children. Formal reports give the court a clear view of the family dynamics and realistic paths forward.
Supervised Visitation
Observation, assessment, and reporting for the court
Supervision of parenting time when a court order or a family’s circumstances call for it, centered throughout on the best interest of the child. Jeannemarie brings a clinician’s understanding of family dynamics to what she observes between parent and child, and gives counsel and the court a written assessment, analysis, and recommendations to inform the court’s decision.
Reunification
Rebuilding a parent-child relationship after absence or distance
Structured, therapeutic work to restore the relationship between a child and a parent following a significant absence from the child’s life. Jeannemarie prepares both the child and the parent, sets a pace the child can manage, and reports progress to counsel and the court.
Court Readiness Coaching
Practical tools for the emotional demands of litigation
A divorce produces more fear, anger, and urgency than the legal process can absorb, and most of it lands on counsel. Jeannemarie takes that on. She prepares clients for what is coming and helps them steady themselves, so they can say what they mean and be seen accurately by the court, allowing attorneys to stay focused on the law.
Jeannemarie does not give legal advice, predict outcomes, develop legal strategy, or coach clients to conceal or distort information. Court readiness coaching is not available in any matter where she serves, or may serve, as a neutral.
